Latest Ogra Price Hike

I was extremely shocked by the sheer ignorance of our policy makers. Petroleum prices are increasing worldwide and it seems that we should also suffer like the other 2/3 of the worlds population who depend on foreign oil.
But let us remember this
1) We get most of our oil from saudi arabia and uae which is normally bought in 3 months advance so whatever that international ,market rate is today it will be applicable after 90 days in pakistan.
2) The oil is comparitively cheap is asian oil markets as compared to western markets.
3) One third of our oil is drilled in pakistan
4) For argument sake lets say the current rate is applicable to us still then it is less a dollar a litre
$140+ per barrel means 140/159=.88 cents /litre
Even our government adds taxes to it it cannot come anyway near to 80 rupees.
Last month the jiyalas declared that our payments will be deferred or converted to soft loans by the arabs so whatever they get from our pockets goes to PPP(P) cronies pockets and Oil companies and the poor will starve to death because atta comes through floot mills which will get a new excuse to shave our skins.

They best alternative is to that everybody goes on a strike for 3 days governmet will loose tax revenue and oil companies will lose money than they will think of poor ppl
